In 2011 we had Ron Butcher builders team do a major rebuild and extension to our home in Oropi. The whole experience was a pleasure from the start to finish. The teams’ motto was “a problem is only a solution waiting to happen”.
The team where all craftsmen that really showed in the genuine pride in what they were doing . We used a number of unusual materials to create features around the home.

Ron and his team completed a recladding of our hour home in Bethlehem in December 2013.
We lived in the house for the duration of the renovation and were impressed with the tidiness of the builders and the way they left the site at the end of each day.
Ron and his team met each morning to discuss the days plan and were excellent at responding to any of our queries, so everything flowed smoothly.
We would like to make a special mention of Alistair the Foreman, who is fantastic as visualizing fine detail and with this strength, enabled us to heave details balanced and looking amazing with a top quality finish. He takes a genuine interest in getting it right.

In the year 2004 I contracted Ron Butcher Builders to construct a building in Katkati on the western end of the Tauranga Harbour wich I was going to use as a 5 Star Lodge. This was to be done while I still lived and worked on the Gold Coast of Auctralia. During the construction period I flew back to New Zealand every 6 weeks to see the progress and answer any questions Ron had concerning the next phase of construction.
I found Ron to be an extremely honest and well organised person to whom nothing as a problem. The nine month construction phase was a pleasure to be part of and building was completed to the higest standards, on schedule and most importantly on budget, there were no surprises.
In April 2010 my wife and I again used Ron to add on a bathroom to our current home, again a job completed without any problems.
Last week Ron started building for us again, this time adding on an extra bedroom and ensuite, this job is being done in a very tight frame, I have full confidence in Ron completing the job on time again.
